Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to patients in our General Surgery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patient nutritional status, using documented medical information and established nutritional standards to develop personalized plans of care.
  • Counseling and Education: Provide one-on-one counseling and education to patients and their families, identifying nutrition-related problems and developing plans to address them.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize nutrition care services.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition care, and share knowledge with colleagues to promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences (or related field) from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical dietetics setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a valid state license to practice as a dietitian.
