About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Med Care Manager to join our team. As a Med Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
  • Document medication administration accurately and thoroughly
  • Provide resident care while demonstrating the Sunrise Senior Living mission to champion the quality of life for all seniors
  • Promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living policies
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; may be required per state regulations
  • Medication Management certification required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital or long term care environment
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
