Job Title: Wood Shop Supervisor

Job Summary:

Axiom Custom Products is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wood Shop Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our wood fabrication department, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of wood fabrication specialists to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet client deadlines and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and purchasing, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, as well as adherence to quality control measures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a custom manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing production processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
  • Knowledge in each of our four key manufacturing areas, with expertise in wood fabrication.
  • Proficiency in production planning methodologies and scheduling software.
