Conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging procedures, utilizing proper technique and providing clear instructions to patients.
Evaluate Patient ConditionsEvaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
Adhere to Protocols and GuidelinesAdhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance.
Interact with Patients and Care ProvidersInteract appropriately with patients and care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
Rotate within Departments and ClinicsRotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and adapt to changing patient needs.
Assist Radiologists and Medical ProfessionalsAssist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
Ensure Exam Rooms are PreparedEnsure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams, adhering to Infection Control standards.
Accurately Code and Enter ChargesAccurately code and enter charges for exams, ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement.
Adapt to Patient NeedsAdapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
Protect Patient ConfidentialityPerform all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients and does not solicit or disclose any confidential information unless necessary in the performance of assigned job duties.

RequirementsEducation/Skills
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in a hospital preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Current state licensure required.
Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
