Position Overview

Autism Spectrum Therapies ("AST"), a prominent organization in the field of autism services, is seeking a highly skilled master's-level ABA professional to fill the role of Managing Technician. This position is tailored for a seasoned individual eager to enhance their assessment capabilities while progressing towards BCBA certification.

With nearly 100 BCBAs across multiple states, AST provides ongoing professional development and opportunities to engage in research initiatives. This role offers a chance to be part of a reputable and expanding organization, positioning you for a successful career in ABA.

The Managing Technician will be responsible for supporting clients and Behavior Therapists in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Accumulate indirect supervision hours necessary for BCBA certification
  • Manage a team of approximately 5 interventionists and their respective clients
  • Formulate client objectives and clinical strategies
  • Facilitate parent training and educational sessions
  • Draft progress reports and lead regular team discussions
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • At least one year of experience working with children diagnosed with autism
  • Eligibility for BCBA or currently accruing necessary hours
  • Comprehensive experience in applied behavioral analysis
  • Proven proficiency in all facets of the Behavior Interventionist role
  • Ability to mentor and train colleagues
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • BCaBA certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Bilingual capabilities are highly valued but not required
