Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Class A Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Report any safety hazards or issues to management.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
