Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver food products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards
  • Load and unload products from trailers, and transport items into designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Collect payment from customers where required
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
