Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallow, or cognitive disorders, developing personalized plans of care.
  • Provide direct treatment and follow-up care to patients, ensuring their needs are met and progress is tracked.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient care data accurately and thoroughly, reflecting progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, meetings, and in-services to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and current licensure from the state in which employed.
  • Strong knowledge of speech language pathology theory and concepts, with the ability to evaluate and treat patients with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually, with a focus on staying current with industry developments.
  • Ability to travel and work in a variety of settings, with flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs.
