Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients of all ages, including children and adults.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in the State of Florida and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including those with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
