Mental Health Specialist for Veterans

MRG Exams is a reputable provider of independent medical exams, serving the needs of the veteran community since 1998. We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform disability assessments as part of the VA's benefits process.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of veterans' behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal.
- Perform in-person assessments on each veteran, reviewing their medical history and completing assessment questionnaires.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.
This role involves working as an independent contractor, conducting assessments on 4 veterans per day on average. The licensed psychologist will not treat patients or prescribe medication in this position.
Requirements- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted psychology license.
- Malpractice insurance coverage by MRG.
- Health insurance options available.
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
