Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in med/surg and/or critical care units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient nutrition care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Be well-versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification, and utilize this knowledge to identify and address malnutrition in patients.
  • Work every 4th weekend and rotating holidays, providing hospital-wide coverage.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process and efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Two or more years' experience as a Registered Dietitian, with critical care experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills to interact with a variety of individuals and groups.
  • A strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
