About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Mechanical Engineering courses at George Mason University.

The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching and developing courses in Mechanical Engineering, including Statics, Solid Mechanics, Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechatronics, Finite Element Analysis, and Computer-Aided Design.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, and a strong background in teaching and mentoring students.

Responsibilities will include preparing and teaching assigned courses, grading student assignments and exams, maintaining accurate student records, and fostering student success through regular office hours and timely responses to student inquiries.

The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain professional development to stay current in their field and adhere to all administrative university policies.
