Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to students in a school setting, including assessment, counseling, and consultation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test and measurement, problem-solving, and social skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and interpret psychological tests to assess students' cognitive, social, and emotional functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' academic and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide comprehensive support services.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students, as needed.
- Consult with district staff to develop and implement social, behavioral, and academic educational interventions.
- Masters Degree in Psychology or Educational Psychology.
- Washington certificate at the Initial Level as Educational Staff Associate (ESA-School Psychology).
- Strong experiential or training background in test and measurement, problem-solving, and social skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
