Job Summary

Walbridge is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical aspects of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise electrical craft activities, including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, and work schedule.
  • Coordinate assigned work with other crafts, company departments, or contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
  • Assist in resolving construction problems, such as lack of productivity or work interfaces, as required.
  • Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements and document corrective measures.
  • Maintain liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support electrical activities and project schedule.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
  • Strong electrical background, with Data Center experience preferred but not required.
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and demonstrated ability to control and supervise large groups.
  • Prior experience with Commercial and/or Industrial project scopes of $15M value or more.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as assigned.
