Veterans Mental Health Specialist

MRG Exams, a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration, is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. Founded in 1998, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional services to our clients while making a positive impact on the lives of military families.
Salary
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are looking for a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a Disability Assessment Psychologist, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; instead, the Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license
* Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
* Has graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
