Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Blue Ridge Executive Search. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Meet daily with project crews to confirm all materials, equipment, and resources are readily available for the planned construction activities on the schedule.
  • Technical Input: Collects, coordinates, and analyzes shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data through the duration of the project.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Provides technical input for project work plans and scheduling, identifies risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule, and evaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Reviews project specifications for quality assurance at the beginning of work, during the project work and after work completes, and initiates and manages appropriate permits, certificates, inspections, and other documentation regarding construction activities.
  • Health and Safety: Conducts required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliance work environment for all construction personnel.
