Position Overview:
Nesco Resource is actively seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a prominent client in the manufacturing sector. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of CNC machinery and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Shift Details:
- Schedule: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday (Overtime may be required based on production demands)

Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $19.50

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily operational checklists for the work cell.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the work area as necessary.
  • Regularly rotate or replace indexable cutting inserts in lathes as per schedule or need.
  • Change machining center end mills, drills, and taps at designated intervals or as required.
  • Initiate the cutting of initial parts following tool rotation or replacement.
  • Utilize variable gauges to measure parts accurately.
  • Make necessary offsets to adjust dimensions as required.
  • Re-measure parts post-adjustments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Document part dimensions at specified intervals using dimensional audit forms.
  • Load raw materials onto the part stocker efficiently.
  • Inspect and package finished parts at the end of the production line.
  • Record production output by completing the production report.
  • Reset machines promptly in case of short stoppages.
  • Monitor part quality throughout the shift.
  • Report any machine or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
