About the Role


As a Patient Safety Attendant at UNC Health, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for our patients. This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse team of over 40,000 employees who share a common goal of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.


Key Responsibilities


The Patient Safety Attendant is responsible for providing focused, non-clinical observation of patients identified with safety risks. This includes:


  • Responding promptly and courteously to patient requests and notifying appropriate personnel in a timely manner
  • Reporting unusual occurrences to a charge nurse or supervisor immediately
  • Assisting in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment
  • Notifying nursing personnel when patients require assistance such as positioning, holding, feeding, and toileting

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Work Details


This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 36 hours per week. The location of the job is at PARDEEHOSP.
