Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Paratransit Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of PACE participants, including ambulatory and wheelchair-bound individuals, durable medical equipment, and pharmacy items. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle.
Responsibilities- Transport PACE participants safely and efficiently
- Operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle
- Communicate effectively with participants, colleagues, and supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- NC Driver's License
- BLS and First Aid certification
- Preferred: Class B CDL with P Endorsement
- One year experience working with and/or transporting the frail and elderly
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- First Aid Basic must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
