Job Overview:
We are in search of dedicated and dependable individuals for the role of Pest Control Technician. This full-time position involves assisting our clients in identifying and eliminating pest issues. Key responsibilities include inspecting properties, advising on treatment options, and executing pest control services with professionalism and efficiency. Previous experience in pest control is advantageous but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be nicotine-free (no tobacco or vaping products).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Capability to park a company vehicle at your residence.
- Willingness to study independently to pass the state pest control certification exam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the type of treatment necessary for pest elimination.
- Providing customers with guidance on appropriate treatment methods.
- Conducting thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest issues.
- Completing all required documentation after each service.
- Coordinating with office personnel to schedule services.
- Applying pesticides in accordance with safety regulations and label instructions.
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding pest control services.
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and products.
- Adjusting pesticide mixtures based on the extent of the infestation.
- Maintaining and safely operating a company service vehicle.
