POSITION TITLE: Admissions Coordinator

Role Summary:

As the Admissions Coordinator at PNLH, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, schedule, and guide new admissions under the supervision of our program and site directors. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct client evaluations and provide counseling in accordance with the LIGHT Model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the LIGHT Model in all client interactions.
  • Provide daily updates on the waiting list to the Site Director.
  • Submit a weekly report of admissions to the Site Director by the end of the week.
  • Offer interim support services to clients awaiting admission.
  • Ensure all admission documentation is completed on the same day.
  • Respond to all phone inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Refer clients who do not meet screening criteria for additional support.
  • Document all client referrals and eligibility assessments.
  • Confirm admissions with external stakeholders within 48 hours.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
  • Participate in team meetings and client care evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a Master's Degree preferred. A CADC or Mcbap development plan is necessary, and completion of MAFE certification is required.

Experience and Skills:

Strong verbal and communication skills are essential, along with a minimum of six months' experience in working with clients facing substance use challenges. Training in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders is expected.
