Salary: $25 - $30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks as specified on the service order with precision and efficiency, adhering to both dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Promote and sell lubrication services, safety inspections, and related offerings.
- Maintain comprehensive records for regular clients, ensuring timely follow-ups through calls, mail, or personal reminders.
- Drain and replace engine oil, ensuring proper quantities are utilized.
- Change oil and air filters as required.
- Assess vehicle fluid levels, replenishing or replacing as necessary.
- Check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
- Apply specified lubricants to moving components.
- Coordinate with the parts department to procure necessary components.
- Report any equipment defects or issues to the supervisor.
- Document all services performed on the service order accurately.
- Engage in manufacturer-sponsored training sessions as directed by the service manager.
- Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins and guidelines.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are maintained in a clean condition, promptly notifying the service advisor of any changes in the vehicle's appearance or condition.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
- Be responsible for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, ensuring they are returned in their original condition.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Immediately report any safety concerns to management.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
