Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $30,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionAs an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements on heavy equipment related to rock and asphalt plants, belt lines, and scale houses. This includes:
• Repair and maintain equipment, including replacing screen decks, conveyor belts, rollers, and lubricating gear boxes and bearings.
• Conduct scheduled and routine maintenance tasks, as well as troubleshooting and identifying repair needs.
• Utilize hand and power tools for repairs and replacements, and assist in construction and installation tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities• Perform cleaning and loading/unloading tasks, including maintaining cleanliness of work areas and operating forklift and other equipment for loading and unloading tasks.
• Operate various equipment for mining, stockpiling, cleaning, and repair purposes, and perform labor tasks such as shoveling and washing.
• Complete other duties assigned by supervisors related to facility operation and maintenance.
Desired Qualifications• Proficiency in cutting, welding, rigging, and use of hand tools.
• Experience in operating equipment such as loaders, excavators, and forklifts.
• Knowledge of aggregate and asphalt materials and products.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment.
Work Environment• Work environments may include dust, fumes, debris, and varying noise levels.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain.
Physical Demands• Physical demands may include lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing or sitting, climbing stairs, and repetitive tasks.
