Lead the Way in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Early Childhood Director to lead our full-day, high-quality pre-K education program serving 3-4 year olds. About This Opportunity
  • This is a full-time, 12-month position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a teacher, including 3 years as a Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood classroom, and at least 2 years of program leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities

As our Early Childhood Director, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the instructional program to ensure high-quality education for all students.
  • Serving as liaison with the NYC Division of Early Childhood's Instructional team to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations with NY State and NY City.
  • Collaborating with school leadership, faculty, staff, and parents to promote program excellence.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master of Education in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current New York State Teaching Certification in Early Childhood or Childhood Teaching.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a teacher, including 3 years as a Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood classroom, and at least 2 years of program leadership experience.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. The ability to commute/relocate to the Bronx, NY 10470 is required.
