About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant - Home Health Therapist to join our team in Person County, North Carolina. This is a per diem opportunity performing home health visits for our Person County Visits office.

As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, enabling them to receive medical attention while residing at home.

This role involves making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories, conducting diagnostic tests and measurements, and developing individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to revise and implement care plans as necessary.
  • Educate and instruct clients and their representatives on rehabilitation techniques and activities promoting independent living.
Requirements
  • A valid North Carolina Physician Assistant license.
  • Graduation from an accredited program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
