Transportation Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Project Engineer to join our team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. in Wisconsin. As a key member of our roadway design team, you will work under the direction of various Project Managers to prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects of varying size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plan documents and supporting design calculations
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Produce high-quality work and implement and maintain quality assurance procedures
  • Oversee the technical aspects of various projects
  • Coordinate with Clients depending on project role
  • Perform field reviews and other assessments for use in design
  • Participate in contract bidding, provide limited observation during construction, review submittals and RFIs
  • Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Proficient in Autodesk Civil3D and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet project deadlines
