About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team as a Supervisor. As a key member of our hospital team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our technical staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care and client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the workflow on the hospital floor
  • Assist with the interview process for potential new hires
  • Develop and implement protocols to improve patient care and client service
  • Provide mentorship and training to technical staff
  • Collaborate with department doctors to develop and implement new procedures
Requirements
  • Licensed veterinary technician with a minimum of five years technical experience, and 2 years supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive, friendly attitude
  • Ability to plan, organize, make decisions, and communicate effectively and clearly with fellow team members, clients and doctors
  • Able to handle multiple tasks at once, and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities
  • Must be able to work full-time hours, flexibility a must, including occasional holidays
