Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to research, develop, integrate, test, and deploy advanced systems in spatial computing and machine intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development of geospatial software and digital mapping services.
  • Assist research personnel in publishing findings in academic journals, technical reports, and at relevant conferences.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to gather, understand, and implement project requirements and security protocols in software solutions.
Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in web application design, database development, or web services.
  • Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in facilitating user requirement sessions and documenting outcomes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Docker, OpenLayers, and Geoserver (WMS WFS).
  • Experience in integrating external models and tools for high-performance visualization.
  • Ability to outline technical specifications, create design documentation, and coordinate development efforts with leadership.
