SJS Executives, LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team in Manhattan, NY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating and cooling systems at a Veteran's Affairs Hospital.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and steam valves.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with HVAC systems, including electrical and pneumatic components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment, replacing filters, and lubricating pumps and motors.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC work.
- EPA 608 Universal certification required.
- Must possess own tools and be able to determine proper equipment needed for tasks.
- Ability to make complex technical decisions and judgments to repair, alter, and install HVAC systems.
- Must pass a drug test and thorough background check for access to a military installation.
