Job Title: HR Business Partner

At Haven Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives and ensuring the effective management of our human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's mission and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and employee retention processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness in all aspects of HR management.
  • Assess staff and management training needs, developing and implementing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and assess current employment practices, compensation, and benefits programs, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring market competitiveness.
  • Oversee the operations of the volunteer and intern programs, providing direct supervision and support to the Volunteer and Intern Program Coordinator.
  • Ensure legal compliance with local, state, and federal labor and employment laws, maintaining a proactive and risk-management approach.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of HR management experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems, including HRIS platforms, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
