Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scanning and/or entering numbers on the register, lifting and moving goods, making change, and bagging orders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Scan and/or enter numbers on the register, lift and move goods, make change, and bag orders.
- Restock returns, replenish front-end items, clean, and assist with carts as needed.
- Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
- Meet or exceed sales and customer service performance standards.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
- Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
- Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
- Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
- Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs.
- Job cycles: continual max.
- Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
- Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
- Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
