Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual for an Open Rank Professor position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will join our esteemed team of clinicians and researchers in the Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an independent clinical research program utilizing the excellent translational research opportunities and resources available at UVa.
  • Be clinically active, attending on inpatient and outpatient services at UVa, and participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center.
  • Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Have a strong interest in CAR T therapy.
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine by appointment start date.
  • Board-eligibility or Board-certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
