We are seeking a highly qualified individual for an Open Rank Professor position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will join our esteemed team of clinicians and researchers in the Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy Program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop an independent clinical research program utilizing the excellent translational research opportunities and resources available at UVa.
- Be clinically active, attending on inpatient and outpatient services at UVa, and participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center.
- Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Have a strong interest in CAR T therapy.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine by appointment start date.
- Board-eligibility or Board-certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
