About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatopathologist to join our esteemed team at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, IL. As a Dermatopathologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating skin diseases, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of dermatologists and pathologists.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments in medical dermatology
  • Review and interpret pathology slides to diagnose skin conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing minor procedures
  • Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment options, and preventative measures
  • Collaborate with dermatologists, surgeons, and researchers to advance clinical outcomes and participate in ongoing clinical trials
Requirements
  • ACGME-accredited fellowship in Dermatopathology (or be a current fellow)
  • BC/BE in Dermatology, Derm Path
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in interpreting pathology slides
