Dermatopathologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatopathologist to join our esteemed team at North Shore Inc. in Evanston, IL. As a Dermatopathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating skin diseases, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of dermatologists and pathologists.
Responsibilities- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments in medical dermatology.
- Review and interpret pathology slides to diagnose skin conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing minor procedures.
- Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with dermatologists, surgeons, and researchers to advance clinical outcomes and participate in ongoing clinical trials.
- ACGME-accredited fellowship in Dermatopathology (or be a current fellow).
- BC/BE in Dermatology, Derm Path.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in interpreting pathology slides.

We have a comprehensive clinical trials program, with currently close to 40 active trials. Our team consists of 11 general dermatologists, 3 pediatric dermatologists, and 2 full-time surgical/Mohs dermatologists who work in close collaboration with 2 board-certified Dermatopathologists in the Department of Pathology.
