About OWLS Therapy LLC:
We are a specialized private practice providing speech language therapy services in clients' homes and educational institutions throughout Northern Virginia, primarily in Alexandria and Arlington. We prioritize our clients, but our greatest asset is our therapists. We believe that satisfied therapists lead to satisfied clients, and our focus is on empowering our therapists to excel in their roles.
Position Responsibilities:
For those who appreciate precision and thoroughness:
- Travel to clients' residences and schools to conduct therapy sessions lasting 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on strategies and activities to support skill generalization.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create tailored care plans to enhance each child's abilities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate therapy documentation.
Position Requirements:
- Availability for 20-25 hours per week of direct therapy (Monday-Thursday, with Fridays reserved for make-up sessions and evaluations).
- Availability for after-school hours (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM).
- Possession of an active Virginia license from the Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
- Holding ASHA CCCs (please note that clinical fellowship candidates will not be considered).
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to clients' homes and schools.
