Job Opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a highly qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping children improve their communication skills and achieve their full potential.

Qualifications for the Speech Language Pathologist position include:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA certification
  • State Speech Pathology License

A typical day for a Speech Language Pathologist at PDS may include:

Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills

Developing and implementing treatment plans to address identified areas of need

Providing high-quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans

Collaborating with other professionals, including teachers, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for each child
