Job Description:

Develop and create construction work packages for electrical distribution systems, leveraging GIS and CAD software to drive efficiency and accuracy. Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis of poles, cable pulling, electrical demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop, and flicker, as well as coordination of protective devices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop construction work packages for electrical distribution systems, including overhead, underground, and underground residential distribution.
2. Perform engineering calculations, such as structural analysis of poles, cable pulling, electrical demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop, and flicker, as well as coordination of protective devices.
3. Facilitate permit and right-of-way acquisition, estimate project costs, acquire necessary materials, and conduct field investigations.

Requirements:

1+ Years of Electrical Engineering experience.
AutoCAD design skills.
Understanding of GIS technology.
Field Inspection expertise.

Work Environment:

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the option to work from home until an NJ office is established. Daily travel to project sites in northern/central NJ is required for inspecting distribution lines, with mileage and toll reimbursement provided. Once the NJ office is established, this will be a hybrid role.
