Position Details
Job Title: Floating Senior Home Manager (Metro Atlanta Area)
Department: Residential Services
Supervisor: Regional Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Role Summary: Oversee daily operations of residential facilities in the absence of a Senior Community Living Manager. Act as a floater when no coverage is required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field; supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid GA Driver's License and vehicle insurance; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Supervisory Duties: Manage in-home direct care staff across assigned residences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Program Management: Ensure person-centered activities are tailored to individual interests and goals.
- Health and Safety Oversight: Conduct home inspections to meet safety standards and coordinate emergency drills.
- Housekeeping and Nutritional Management: Ensure cleanliness and nutritional adequacy of meals provided.
- Administrative Compliance: Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing residential services.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Health Service Management: Supervise medication administration and maintain health records.
Additional Responsibilities:
Foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and community members while maintaining professional boundaries. Support individual growth and respect diverse backgrounds.
