  • Provide exceptional support to clinical staff in managing medication ordering and delivery processes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, insurance companies, and prescribers to ensure seamless medication management.
  • Identify and resolve potential problems proactively, demonstrating compassion and care for our patients.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to fulfill prescription orders from start to finish, requiring an in-depth understanding of each workstation.
  • Understand and adhere to applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
  • Expand clinical and managerial responsibilities as allowable by state law, with certification and training.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, outside providers, referral sources, and others.
  • Commit to continued professional growth and development.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Uphold procedures and systems to safeguard the confidentiality of all patient and employee information.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Education: High School graduate or GED required. Current valid and unrestricted pharmacy technician license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
  • Experience: Must have completed Pharmacy Technician Trainee requirements.
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to work on a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English as well as basic reading and math skills. Computer proficiency with an electronic medical record. Commitment to exceptional customer service.
