Senior Photographer

Onward Search is a leading staffing and talent solutions company that connects professionals with top brands. We're seeking an Associate Photographer to join our team in Newark, NJ.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled photographer to support our marketing efforts by capturing high-quality 3D virtual tours and footprints. As an Associate Photographer, you'll create a portfolio of photographs that showcase homes and apartments in the most appealing way possible.

Responsibilities:

• Support marketing efforts by capturing 3D virtual tours and footprints
• Create a portfolio of photographs to feature homes and apartments
• Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands
• Communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks
• Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed
• Abide by safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment
• Represent clients in a professional manner at all times
• Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography
• At least 2 years of professional experience, field experience preferred
• Experience with Matterport is highly valued, but will teach qualified candidates
• Ability to accurately capture and enter data
• Quickly learn and apply new concepts such as commercial real estate terminology, mapping, and GIS concepts
• Enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills and very detailed oriented
• Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Apps

Physical Requirements:

• Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day
• Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds
• Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary to perform job functions
• Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons
• The ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule
