This role requires independent practice and effective coordination of care utilizing available resources to guarantee optimal patient outcomes.
Work Environment: The NP or PA will operate in a low-volume clinic that emphasizes high patient engagement.
Patient Interaction: New patient appointments are scheduled for a full hour, while follow-up visits are allotted 30 minutes. The typical daily patient load will range from 10 to 14 individuals.
On-Call Duties: There will be no on-call responsibilities or compensated administrative time.
Clinical Responsibilities: The NP or PA will deliver primary and urgent care services within the wellness center, employing various clinical competencies, including health assessments, disease screenings, and providing treatment, education, and healthcare advice to patients.
Diagnostic Role: The NP or PA will be responsible for ordering necessary screening and diagnostic tests, evaluating results, and developing an appropriate care plan.
Qualifications:
- Current NP or PA licensure in Oregon, prescriptive authority, DEA registration, and valid CPR certification.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Must demonstrate confidence and independence in managing challenges while providing care in this healthcare environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Standard work week of 40 hours.
- Salary range from $102,000 to $153,000, negotiable based on experience.
