Job SummaryWe are seeking a fully licensed outpatient mental health therapist to join our dynamic team. As a therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy services. Our clinic is structured to remove daily obstacles, allowing you to focus on what you love most - providing world-class mental health services.
Responsibilities- Evaluate client needs and mental health diagnoses, creating and implementing treatment plans
- Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, school staff, and other Ellie staff
- Communicate and coordinate with clients on their payment responsibilities
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Conduct occasional outreach activities in support of the clinic and your caseload
- Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
- Full/unrestricted clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.) with a valid license to practice in the state of Colorado
- Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Proficient in using MacBook, app-based phone software, and Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work at the clinic in-person on Fridays, with flexible scheduling for remote or in-person work
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Already credentialed with insurance panels
- Competitive compensation (hourly base pay plus commission) between $65,000-$80,000 depending on training/licensing, language proficiency, number of clients seen, and years of experience
