About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate licensed therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health - 002. As an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist for Military and Veterans, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of service members, veterans, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate clients' needs and mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, school staff as needed, and other Ellie staff.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients on their payment responsibilities, including collecting co-pays and client balances.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Conduct occasional outreach activities in support of the clinic and your caseload.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Full/unrestricted clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.) with a valid license to practice in the state of Colorado.
  • Cultural competency for working with military service members, veterans, and their families.
  • Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in using MacBook, app-based phone software, and Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Willing to undergo a background check, reference checks, and U.S. work authorization check.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Able to work at the clinic in-person on Fridays, most other days and times flexible for remote or in-person; weekends also available (in-person Saturday mornings or remote Sat/Sun).
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Already credentialed with insurance panels.
