Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Account Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing billing functions, providing excellent customer service, and interfacing with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform billing functions, including data entry and reconciliation
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurance carriers, and administration
  • Interface with all levels of staff, management, and physicians to resolve billing and patient-related issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient billing information
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to healthcare billing

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in healthcare billing
  • Medical billing/coding knowledge
  • Comfortable with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interact with insurance carriers, patients, and administration

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
