Position Summary

The Festoon Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components to create top-notch festoon systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble various structural and electrical components with precision.
  • Perform electrical installations in accordance with established wiring specifications.
  • Utilize a range of tools to facilitate the assembly process.
  • Connect color-coded wiring accurately.
  • Conduct testing and adjustments on electrical assemblies to ensure functionality.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve any assembly discrepancies.
  • Provide insights to engineering and sales teams regarding design challenges.
  • Participate in field service and startup duties as required.
  • Verify the accuracy of inputs from engineering, sales, and manufacturing to meet customer specifications.
  • Communicate any necessary changes to relevant departments to maintain quality standards.
  • Support and promote the quality management system across the organization.
  • Implement and sustain 5S program initiatives.
  • Adhere to quality and EHS policies and uphold core values.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly.
  • Familiarity with operating cut-off saws and drill presses.
  • Soldering skills are advantageous.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using measurement devices.
