Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OR Float Pool Nurse PRN to join our team at North Texas Float Pool. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the company's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to surgical patients during the intra-operative period, utilizing the nursing process in planning, executing, and evaluating care.
  • Rotate to other ambulatory surgery center facilities to ensure efficient use of resources and expertise.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and oversee instrument and equipment set-up, prepare for cases utilizing preference cards, and anticipate the needs of surgeons.
  • Relay appropriate hand-off communication to PACU staff to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Nursing Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
  • Valid BCLS & ACLS Certifications required upon employment
