Position Overview:

As a vital member of the emergency response team, you will be tasked with responding to urgent medical situations, evaluating patients, and delivering care in accordance with established Basic Life Support standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients in emergency scenarios, ensuring adherence to state regulations.
  • Transport patients safely while following established protocols.
  • Assist Advanced Life Support providers in managing patient care effectively.
  • Conduct non-emergency medical transports using ambulances and wheelchair vans, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Eligibility for state EMT certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate an EMS vehicle.
  • Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operations Training within two months of hire.
  • Completion of Hazmat Awareness Training within 30 days of employment.
  • Required NIMS training within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least six months of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician.
