Job Summary
As a Machine Operator DP, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to forming and/or fabricating machines that form, roll, and shape metal tubes to precise tolerances. You will read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate fabricating machines to form, roll, and shape metal tubes to precise tolerances.
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications.
- Align and fit parts according to specifications.
- Manually move parts into position.
- Push appropriate buttons to activate machines.
- Monitor machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
- Measure workpiece dimensions as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrate ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with coworkers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, and accept constructive feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or needed.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- 1 year machine operation experience or equivalent of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate equipment and control operations and systems.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to handle, install, and position material.
- Ability to use basic mathematical equations.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors, including but not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
