About the Role

UNC Health is seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a primary care setting
  • Work collaboratively with our primary care physicians and independently
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough physical exams and diagnose medical conditions
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible
  • Board certification if required by the Department
  • Family Practice APP experience preferred
