Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, plan, and provide direct services for students with therapeutic intervention needs in grades Pre K- Gr 8. This role requires a Master's Degree in Speech and Language and licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the NH Office of Licensed Allied Health Professions. The ideal candidate will possess skills in conducting screenings, participating in multidisciplinary evaluation teams, and developing Individual Educational Programs (IEPs), 504s, and intervention plans. The Speech Language Pathologist will also provide direct services, complete progress reports, and participate in the Medicaid to Schools Billing Program. Experience with prompt training is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings consistent with federal and state Child Find requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams for students suspected of having difficulties
• Evaluate and present written reports to parents at evaluation team meetings
• Work with teams to develop IEPs, 504s, and intervention plans for students with speech and/or language delays
• Provide direct services on an individual, small group, or classroom basis to students identified with educational disabilities
• Complete progress reports in a timely manner and according to district/school policy
• Provide consultation and guidance to general education teachers, special education teachers, and educational associates
• Participate in the Medicaid to Schools Billing Program

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech and Language
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the NH Office of Licensed Allied Health Professions
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology
• Experience with prompt training
